I am really proud to have been involved in the transformation of a genuinely fearful patient to a happy, smiling one who now loves coming to see us. When Mrs A first came to visit The Smile Centre we chatted in a non-clinical environment so I could identify exactly what her anxieties were and explain how we could work together to gain her confidence.  I introduced her to other members of the team so she felt more comfortable about her next visit and she left feeling much more confident about returning.  By taking the time to listen to her concerns and being caring and sensitive, which we endeavour to be at all times, we have transformed her tears of fear to tears of laughter. It feels really great to have been part of such a wonderful transformation!
