I had only been at The Smile Centre a few months before I was able to help a very nervous sedation patient by persuading her not to bolt out the door! We just sat down in the patient lounge and chatted like long lost friends until she felt relaxed enough to receive treatment. I saw her again shortly after and she thanked me and even felt confident enough to tell me that I was a real chatter box!  We now see each other regularly for her hygienist’s appointments (when I am nursing) and we always laugh about my non-stop chatter which I am proud to say for once was a real asset to someone.
