There are lots of benefits to having Invisalign Braces – you can read all about them here. Whether you’re still deciding on the best treatment, or you’re an Invisalign convert like us, we’ll help break down what the treatment involves and guide you through the process.
Your Step-By-Step Guide To A Straighter Smile
Here’s what you can expect from your treatment with The Smile Centre:
- Initial consultation – we’ll check your eligibility for the braces and can show you a 3D scan of how your teeth will move at each stage of treatment.
- Treatment – you’ll need regular appointments with us to swap out your trays. They make subtle changes to your teeth’s position, so they’ll need changing every few weeks.
- Results – you may see slight changes during treatment, which makes these braces all the more exciting. Some patients see results in as little as 7 weeks.

Invisalign Braces FAQs
Why choose Invisalign Braces?
There are lots of great reasons to choose Invisalign. From fast results, to a discreet and comfortable treatment, it’s no surprise they’ve been used by millions of patients worldwide*.
How often do I need to wear them?
Invisalign recommends wearing them for 22 hours a day. While they’re removable for eating and keeping up with your dental routine, you will need to wear them overnight.
What makes Invisalign different to other braces?
Invisalign uses 3D technology to show you how your teeth will change over time, and give you an idea of your results at the end. You might spot subtle changes during your treatment, too.
Do the braces affect eating and speaking?
As you’re recommended to remove them for snacks and meals, there’s no impact in eating with the braces. As for speaking, most patients report no effect on speech.
